As an online bank, AloStar Bank of Commerce’s commitment to online security includes providing the highest level of security possible. We incorporate multifactor authentication (MFA) into our sign-on process. For your protection, our online account access requires 128-bit browser encryption. This secure communication technology protects your personal financial information from being intercepted over the internet.

Secure Login

No one at AloStar Bank of Commerce will ever ask you for your password. Protecting your personal passwords is one of the most important ways to protect the security of your online accounts. Never share your passwords with anyone. Create smart and strong passwords of at least 8 digits by combining uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and special characters. When you log on to your AloStar Bank of Commerce accounts, your privacy and security are ensured by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connection technology.

Secure Environment and Review

Only properly authenticated bank customers or administrators can send or receive transactions to or from AloStar Bank of Commerce’s system. We continuously monitor and audit all incoming and outgoing transactions to the Internet. We operate in accordance with all the rules and regulations of banking and bank security as set forth by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the State of Alabama Banking Department. We have also created an internal review process to continually ensure the highest level of web-trust available for security on the Internet.

Email Communications

For your protection, we recommend that you do not e-mail, nor will you be asked to email, full account numbers, debit card numbers, passwords, or any other personal financial information. We cannot guarantee the security of standard email communications.  Your account data at AloStar Bank of Commerce is secured by our state of the art technical equipment and in-house security policies and procedures.
